mass values of the modern world is shaped by the media like news, tv and advertisements
a majority of these values we are being educated is targeted to lead us towards certain actions which benefits certain groups that place the advertisements
in my village in china, a relative of mine lived over hundred years of age with perfect health till she passed away peacefully some months ago
she never really leave the village, the furthest she went is the nearby town
she was a farmer all her life, she live a simple daily life
she doesnt have a tv at home, no advertisements, no news, just her fields of greens, her farmhouse and her family
her life is peaceful and quiet, never have any luxury or excess dreams of greed fear or hatred
yet her life is luxury for everyone of us in the modern cities
its because her values is never the same as the modern mass values, she has her own life, never control by others.
